WHAT IS VIZILITE?

It is a simple and painless exam that your dentist can perform in just a few minutes.  VisiLite is just that.  A light source that helps your dentist identify abnormalities that may have been missed under normal lighting.

Some examples of what your dentist may see are:

Leukodema - a loss of skin pigmentation, often in patches.
Cancroid -  the most common form of skin cancer.


ARE YOU AT RISK?

* People over age 40

* 18-39 years of age combined with tabacco use, chronic alcohol consumption or oral HPV   infection

Because early detection is key, it is important to consider taking the advantage of having an annual screening done regularly.
